RxCrossroads plans $25 million Louisville expansion, 400 new jobs
LOUISVILLE — A Louisville-based health care services company plans a major expansion that is expected to create 400 jobs locally.
RxCrossroads, which serves the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals industries, received preliminary approval for $4 million in state tax incentives from the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority during its monthly meeting in Frankfort recently.
RxCrossroads’ services include supply-chain logistics, reimbursement assistance, financial assistance, compliance and adherence programs, trial offer programs and specialty pharmacy services.
In its KEDFA filing, RxCrossroads said it plans to expand its distribution facilities in Louisville to meet future customer demands and to fulfill a commitment to connect patients with needed therapies.
The company’s $25 million investment for the expansion would include $4.7 million in rental costs, $11 million in building improvements, $8.7 million in equipment and $600,000 in miscellaneous startup costs.
The 400 jobs created are expected to pay $30 an hour, including benefits, the filing showed. The company reported that it currently has 900 full-time jobs. Check for RxCrossroad’s jobs here.
